Life is not always black and white. A lot of gray creeps into our lives. We are human. We make compromising choices everyday. HOWEVER, no matter what we've done, or what we've become in life, there is certainty in Christ. He is our Hope. Hope is the White in the sea of Black. It is the one thing of which we can be sure. With Hope, there is no fear. With Hope there is no grading on the curve. There is no final exam. There is no waiting for the other shoe to drop. There is no doubt who we are serving. We are sure footed, standing on the Rock. Jesus Christ loves us. He died for us. He cleanses us. He lives.

But that is only the beginning. After we step from the night to the light, we finally learn what love is. Surrounded by loving, compassionate people who are willing to extend themselves, we love back.
